MY STORY
DeAne grew up in a small rural town in California’s Central Valley, where life revolved around crop farming and community. She started her career as a professional photographer, eventually earning the distinguished role of official photographer for the California State Assembly—a position that took her from her tight-knit hometown to the fast-paced environment of the state capital. It was in Sacramento that she met her husband—and where photography unexpectedly opened the door to a new passion: graphic design.

In 2020, craving a change of pace, DeAne and her family threw a dart at the map and landed in North Carolina. They're now back to small-town living, surrounded by open space and a slower rhythm that fits just right.

Today, DeAne balances her creative work with life as a wife, mom to a teenage daughter, two adult bonus kids, and coach of her daughter’s traveling national club volleyball team. In her downtime, she’s either quilting, sewing, or relaxing on the southern porch with animals nearby and sweet tea in hand.
